Time consciousness.
‘Time Syndrome’; Lucifer, the head of devil call all him member for a gather and expressed his worry, telling that now a days nobody is coming to our world, hell. He asked for the solution. One said; I will go to the earth and tell people that there is no God. Lucifer was not happy about the answer. 2 people said; I will say there is no hell. Not satisfied. Then the 3rd person said; I will say there is lot of time. He was very happy telling that that is the only way to catch people. If we exert this attitude in their minds, when they about begin their study, they will think there is lot of time and postponed, which never will be actualized. ‘Tomorrow aliment’. Therefore we need to watchful we do not know when this destructive attitude will knock at our door – Be prepared- today and now.
The best moment to do good things is NOW.
Why we wear watch?
It is for punctuality. We need to be punctual for anything and everything in our life. Even if someone failed to do, I will do. Because the leader is the one who does thing even if others fail to do. There are many who think that there is lot of time and won’t do anything for the moment. Then they say I don’t know what to do. There is no partiality in distribution of time. One who reached the high ladders of success and the one who straggles for survival are equal as far as the time is concerned. Lot of Time = No time.
Time is valuable. Time is counted in Seconds. When telephone comes we say, ‘One second please hold on’. One day 86,400 seconds are there. It is same for PM, CM and for me.
Therefore use seconds in a most creative manner. Psychologists say we use only 10% of our abilities and it is precisely because of our failure to use seconds and the in-between time, that we waist always before to start any work. This is caused by lack of planning. Time doesn’t stop or wait for anyone. It just passes whether you like it or not. I cannot be enjoying my childhood again even I aspire for it. The lost time is lost for every. Therefore don’t wait but use it in a profound manner.
There are people who have time for everything and any thing. How and why? It is because of the organization of time. Where shall we find and save time? We need to watch TV. But no extra time we spend in frond of it and watch anything and everything comes. So selection and decision-making are important to use every second. Find time for extra reading, creative thinking and developing skills like writing poetry, paining, writing etc
Characteristics of Time?
1.Time is finite: It is momentary. Each second is counted in itself.
2.Time cannot be stored: Our experience shows that we can save and store things, so that it can be used later needs. But is not so. We cannot say that today I feel boring and I don’t want to use this time now but I will use it tomorrow.
3.Time is wealth: If you use time properly and in a contractive manner then you will reach a point when the time turns to be wealth.
4.Time is inelastic: I cannot say that I have plenty of work to do today so let the sun set down at 8 O clock today.
5.Time has to be spent: We have no option but to spend time whether we like it or not, whether I use it or not. You can either allow or make use of it. It just passes quietly like a silent killer.
6.Time is costly: Every moment is precious:
To realize the value of ..
One Year - Ask a mother who has given birth to a pre-mature baby.
One Week - Ask a editor of a weekly periodical
One Day - Ask a daily wage labourer
One Hour - Ask the lovers waiting to meet.
One minute - Ask the person who missed the flight
One second - Ask someone who survived an accident
One Milli-second- Ask the sprinter who missed the gold medal in Olympics
Time is costly, it just flies away, treasure every moment you have.
7.Time waits for no one: You request will be denied always and you will be betrayed unless you are alert. You can approach no great man to make a recommendation for this.
The benefits you receive if you are a Good Time Manager?
1. You can get better results.
2. It will improve the quality of work.
3. You will work faster.
4. You will have low stress level.
5. Increase accuracy and you make less mistakes.
6. Your income will increase
7. You will receive a sense of satisfaction and self-contentment.
Proverb: If you have any things to be done quickly, give it to a busiest Person. Yes, if you are not busy, you never will do, because you have plenty of time to do it.
How to invest and take interest out of time?
Though time cannot be stored as such, we can store it in some other ways and forms. Some of them are;
1.Reading and learning: The time we spent for this will turn out to be the powerhouse for colourful future, better results, and to form a attractive personality.
2Exercise: The time we spend for the exercise everyday will turn to be good health. Here time is stored in the form of health, which will prevent us from losing time by ill health and wasting time in the hospital.
3.Spending time in Creativity. The time we spend for the artistic and for the development of the skills will remain as asset forever in our credit. Creativity touches a very many diverse forms, like hobbies, making reviews of books, scientific experiments, making friendships, letter writing etc.
4.Constuctive thinking: This will enrich our mental health. This time we spent will give interest in the form of good friends and the skill to influence others.
5.Prayer and Meditation: The time we invest in this form will increase confidence, reassurance and will give interest in the form of happiness and sound memory.
How we wasted time?
We should be prepared to face the day before the sun rises. Therefore plan the day and time. List it out all the things we need to do according to the priorities in advance. This will help us for the better use of in-between times fruitfully. The great persons are those who made effective use of the in-between times. Some of the ways we waist our precious time are:
1. Too much sleep; Sleeping more than 7 hours for an adult is waste of time. Over sleeping will cause diverse facets of defects. Every habit is the fruit of reputation. Therefore it is better to follow the timetable according to the planner and put into the practice, though some times difficult. The basic principle to follow the time table is that we have to do what we are suppose to do, not what we like or feel to do. It is quite natural that I like and feel remain sleeping in the morning. But I have to do what I am supposed to do, that is I have to get up.
2. Daydreaming: Psychologists say that we waist very good amount of time in daydream. The interesting part of it is that it will take away our precious time by giving a little sweet of a sense of the past or the future. But we are the loosers because we fail to live at the present moment, which actually colours our bright future. A constant practice of developing the art of awareness and realization will help to overcome daydreaming.
3. Comparison and Complaining: We are always tending to compare ourselves with those who are high. This will leave us in a situation of sadness, worthlessness and the feeling of inadequacy in us. Comparison and complaining are waste of time, that this will raise the attitude of finding fault with others as a defense mechanism. Comparison is healthy as long us it helps us to boost ourselves and gather our energy to moves forward with renewed fortitude and courage.
4. Forgetting to live Today: There are people who live in their past and also there are people who live in their world of future forgetting to live today. Those who live in their past are people like thinking of their gad and dark days past. It is later he or she realizes that he or she spent time in vain without any gain forgetting to live now and today. This will give a sense of dissatisfaction of one’s way of bringing about and indulge in day dreaming. There are some who live in their Future. This usually colour with the things they want to become at the cost be wasting the precious now. E.g. dreaming of becoming the Prime Minister, Rich man etc. Since one is not preparing now with the time given the dreams remain as a dream forever. So Live Today, Make the best use of the present. If so you never regret over the past and the future. Because today’s present is tomorrow’s past and the future will be bright automatically. Past is gone, Future is unreal and uncertain, present is real. God is, not was or will be.
Story. 1: There was a farmer who used to get 12 sacks of rice every year. This was good enough for him and his family to find their livelihood through out the year since each sack serves for a month. But one year he got only 11 sacks of rice. He because very anxious. His whole worry was how will he manage in the month of December. So he and his family began to fast the first whole month so that in the month December there will not be any problem. Unfortunately at the end of the month his children and his wife and at last he too died of starving. Now what is the use the 11 sack of race? He forgot to live today and lacked planning.
Story. 2 : There was a poor village woman. The whole wealth that she has is a jar full of oil. One day she decided to take this oil to the marketplace carrying it one her head. As she walked, she daydreamed about the future and about how much money she would make by selling the oil. She thought I can bay little more oil out of the profit I get by today’s business. After a month I will be able to bay two jar full of oil. After an year I will hair a cart to carry my jars full of oil. Then after ten years I would be able to buy a house. As she visualized that she started dancing in joy and the jar of oil fell to the ground. Her dreams lay in ruin at her feet.
It often happens to escape from the present. We cast our glance backward at the past and become preoccupied with the good old days. Other wise we project ourselves far into the future and forget present. Learn from the past and keep hope and aspire for the future with handwork and perseverance. But concentrate on the present. As we do things right in the present, we creatively allow the future to build itself for us.
5. Thinking of Physic and sensory involvement:
6. Negative Talk:
7. Indulging in useless conversation:
8. Perfectionalism:
9. Reoccurs Delegation:
10. Doing the unnecessary things:
How to save Time
1.Enjoy the task you are doing: “There is nothing good or bad, thinking make it so” says Shakespeare. It is the attitude that matters. If we enjoy the task and so then it becomes a joyful thing to accomplish. True, it is not an easy thing.
2. Set priorities of the day: So it on your paper. There should be three categories, namely
a) Urgent: Things of urgency, which have to be done without any fall.
b) Important: These things are important and have to be carried out but preference naturally goes to urgent things.
c) Desirable: These things can be postponed in case of some other urgency or important things. E.g. Writing a letter, reading a book, watching a movie etc. But Letter writing sometimes will be the urgent thing to do.
3. Do one task at a time:
4.Stop non-productive activities.
5.Make time log: It is the evaluation of each time that we spent. How effective and fruitful those moments were? Then making a planner of a day then for a week etc.
6. Following a timetable: It is one of the important things to do. The time table varies person to person. It must not be based on our desires to do but more of that that is possible to keep and practice. Some Educationalists say that the 24 hours should be divided into three categories. That is 8 hours for study, 8 hours for study and 8 hours for entertainments. It is not absolute it varies according to the age, standard of academic life etc. It is important to find out when one is mentally alert. Some are mentally alert at the early hours of the day, some are in the evenings and even some are mentally alert late hours of the day. These boiling hours should be made use effectively. These hours are the most productive hours.
Boredom is the result of lack of planning. We need to plan everything. Not only out study and given hours but also our rooms, things kept, orderly arrangement of materials and books. It will save us from wasting time to find things that we kept.
We should know what to next. This will help us to make use of every second of our life in a creative manner.
Be a Time Administrator.
For optimist time is abundant measure, creative vs no time, doing nothing. As a result “I might have been’, ‘I should have’,’ ‘I could have’ etc attitudes.
24-hrs: Same for all (poor or rich, fool or genius) Organize for everything. -No one will thief even a moment from you. Waste your infinitely precious commodity, but no one will punish you of it and supply will never be withheld from you. But future will teach you.
Remember: A lost moment is gone forever and no one will ever be able to regain it.
The poet, Samuel Smiles said, “Lost wealth may be replaced by industry, lost knowledge by study, lost health by medicine, but lost time is gone for ever.”
Time management is nothing but prioritizing, planning and implementing your daily timetable. -Find value & enjoy the magic power of planning and the accomplishment of your cherished desires.
Time is the inexplicable raw material of everything. With it all things is possible...without it nothing.
The successful one is the one who make use of the in-between time. We waste much time after finishing one think and waste time by thinking of another thing to start. Here comes the preplanning and programming the day before the onset of the day. In order to get best out of life and time we have to prepare to face the day.
We have to use our time creatively.
Walt Disney: After a tired day Walt Disney was in bed trying to sleep but he could not since his friends, who had returned after a full day’s picnic were snoring. Each one was snoring in his own way. Even though Walt was not able to sleep, he made use of the time to record the pitch and rhythm and later composed a beautiful, snoring symphony, which was included in the film ‘Full Bright Moon and Seven Stars’ which won him the Oscar award for music.
Make sure your efforts are channeled in the proper direction. It is useless to sit in front of the book and indulge in daydreams. It is not the time you spent before the books matter but the concentration you put in. This will save your precious time. -Hard work & proper direction give colourful results. Do one thing at a time, finish it, and then go on to the next. Do what you can. Don’t compare yourself with others. Complete with yourself.
Time passes by
Time passes by
Make present history.
Brings future nearer.
Past goes deeper
In the time ocean.
Times when I was just curious
And when I had just fun.
As I see the mirror today
I find a mature reflection.
It is treasure
Neither neither stored nor saved.
A part of the treasure
And a part of myself
Just goes by
As time passes by.

Make friendship
How to make friends?
1. Be interested in others: Everyone likes to love and to be loved, recognized, listened. Ways to attract are: writing, speaking, initiating, wishing without forgetting their B’days..,talking in terms of others interests, treating others as the most important persons, calling by names, etc.
If you want others to like you, if you want to develop real friendships, if you want to help others at the same time as you help yourself, keep this principle in mind: Become genuinely interested in other people.
2. Do things for other people. “There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so”. Shake spear. If you think good about somebody it will be expressed in your words, acts and attitudes& vice versa.
Henry Ford as asked ‘‘who is your best friend?” He replied, “ One who brings out of you what is best in you”.
3. Speak to people- Greetings, Each one is really waiting for a start. Remaining in room/office not only is lonely, but it denies one the opportunity of making friends. You can’t expect people come to you, you have to go out and meet. Because of this starting trouble we loose so many good people.
4. Smile at people. Your smile is a message of your good will. It brings people close to you, brings hope, happiness& the countersign of friendship. You will become health and free person. Chinese Proverb goes like this, “A man without a smiling face must not open a shop”. It costs nothing but creates much.
5. Call people by their name. The sweetest music to anyone’s ears is the sound of his own name. It is the magic to influence people. The name sets the individual apart; it makes him or her unique among all others, From the waitress to the senior executive, the name will work magic as we deal with others.
6. Make the other person feel important- and do it sincerely; “ Talk to people about themselves,” said Disraeli. Talk to people about themselves and they will listen for hours. Be a good listener. Encourage people to talk about themselves. Talk in terms of others interest. Be a wiser than people if you can; but do not tell them so.
“One thing only I know, and that is that in know nothing” Socrates.
Each one is a priceless book with rich treasure in it, unravel it. The more you know about a person, and then there is more to know.
The reason why rivers and seas receive the homage of a hundred mountain streams is that they keep below them. Thus you are able to reign over all the mountain streams.e.g. Sages.
7. Be cordial: The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it don’t argue but discuss. Do as you do to you. Show respect for the other person’s opinion. Never say, “you are wrong”. Use a little diplomacy. If you are wrong, admit it quickly and emphatically. Be sympathetic with the other person’s ideas and desires. Talk about your own mistakes before criticizing the other person.
8. Be genuinely interested with praises: Cautious with criticism, praise in public and criticize in private. “ The desire to be great”(Freud) “The deepest principle in human nature is the craving to be appreciated.”(William James).
9. Be considerate with feelings of others. Empathize with others feelings, problems, emotions and respect their feeling &don’t judge whether that feeling is appropriate or not. This is the way s\he feels. Don’t try solve to solve the problem but the person. Give the other person a fine reputation to live up to.
10. Be thoughtful of the opinions of others. 3 sides- your opinion, other’s and the right one. Neither over estimate your opinion nor under estimate others.
11. Learn from others: “Every man I meet is my superior in some way. In that, I learn of h/her.” If it is true of Emerson , isn’t it likely to be a thousand times more true of you and me? Let’s cease to think of our accomplishments, our wants. See things in others point of view & your own. Be alert to give advice. Try to learn from others than imposing your ideas, you are not superior to anybody, inferior to anybody, but equal and unique.
12. An attitude of let-go. Attitude of giving(Geethanjali no.50). sacrificing mentality. IT is the individual who is not interested in his fellow men who has the greatest difficulties in life and provides the greatest injury to others, It is from among such individuals that all human failures spring- Alfred Adler, in his book “What life should mean to you
A call and a need
If one day you feel like crying… call me
I don’t promise that
I will make you laugh,
But I can cry with you….
If one day you want to run away...
Don’t be afraid to call me.
I don’t promise to ask you to stop,
But I can run with you…
If one day you don’t want
To listen to anyone... call me.
I promise to be there for you.
And I promise to be very quiet.
But if one day you call...
And there is no answer...
Come fast to see me,
Perhaps I need you……...
You are my friend and I hope
You know thats true
No matter what happens
I will stand right by you
In times of grief
I’ll be there for you
Whenever you are in need
To lend you a hand
To do a good deed
So just call on me
when you need me, My Friend!
I will always be there for you
Right to the End!
With love……
Your friend ?
I don’t promise that
I will make you laugh,
But I can cry with you….
If one day you want to run away...
Don’t be afraid to call me.
I don’t promise to ask you to stop,
But I can run with you…
If one day you don’t want

The reality of life
Where there is love, there is hatred.
This is how God has made it.
Joy and sorrow are the two sides of life.
Whatever it be, we have to experience
Both these during the course of our years.
Whether it be laughter of tears
God has placed them hand in hand.
Who can ever change this fate?
This is the reality of life.
Life is a journey, it must be completed.
If life is a battle, it must be finished.
If life is a pilgrimage, it must be concluded.
And if life is a race, it must be won.
Life is a race.
Don’t whimper if the track is rough and the goal is distant. One day you shall reach it.
Life is a voyage.
Don’t complain if the storms bat6ter the hull or the winds tatter so shreds the sails. One day you shall come to your heaven.
Life is growth.
Don’t find fault if the seed lies smothered and submerged in the dark earth before it blooms and blossoms. One day you shall have your harvest.
The beauty of a home is harmony.
The security of a house is loyalty.
The joy of a house is love.
The plenty of a house is children.
The rule of a house is service.
The comfort of a house is in contented spirits.
The maker of a house, of a real human house, is God
Himself, the same who made the stars and built the world.
Parents are prone to give their children everything except the one thing they need most. That is time; time for listening, time for understanding, time for helping, and time for guiding. It sounds simple, but in reality is is the most difficult, and the most sacrificial task of parenthood.

Determine to integrate the body and spirit.
Determine to live above neurotic guilt.
Cultivate people who help you grow.
Refuse to allow rejection to keep you from taking the initiative with people.
BE A BLESSING
Be a Blessing!!!! Today we are living in a world where there are lots of questions about one’s own life. Each one tries to find out the meaning of their actions and life. A meaningless life is an immense threat to the existence to the human society. In the modern world, where everyone is running after profits and befits, it is very difficult to spare sometime to find out the actual aim of one’s life. Hence an aimless action is not an uncommon phenomenon in the world. What is the aim of one’s life? Each child is born with an aim in its mind to be fulfilled on the earth. A major portion of one’s life is dedicated to find out what is that aim. Searching for an aim gives meaning to one’s life. From the meaning, that one reaches through his / her searching, the mission begins. Therefore meaning is the basis of each and every mission.
In the book of Genesis we come across with the blessing of the Lord to Abram (Gen.12:1-4). The main theme running through these sentences is this: “Be a Blessing”. Jesus Christ actualized this particular mission of our forefather, by being a Blessing to the humanity. Today it is to be carried out by us. The aim of our life, vocation and formation are to find out the meaning of our life, so that we may continue this particular mission. So the need of the time is to be a Blessing. Here, naturally, the question of Mother Mary arises in our mind, “How can this be?” It is by fostering oneself to achieve an “authentic” relationship with God, Others and My self.
A life, which is taken positively to its entity, always follows some values. These values give satisfaction in all the situation of their life. An “authentic” relation with my own self call for a life in which the values of God’s kingdom are taken care of and followed. When I follow the values of Jesus, in all the situations of my life, I make an “authentic” relationship with my self, which leads to an “authentic” relationship with God and others. In other words my “genuine” relationship is to be guided with the values of God, by which I can walk in the right way with right thoughts, words and deeds. When my thoughts, words and deeds are oriented towards the values of Jesus, I become a blessing to my self. The challenge of today is whether I can orient my thoughts, words and deeds based on the values of Jesus. If I succeed to take up this challenge in my life and respond positively, then I become a blessing to my self. I become Blessing when I have Blessing for others. As a result, automatically I become a blessing to others too.
Let us ask ourselves, “Can I be a blessing to my self to be the blessing for others?”
